HARD ENAMEL PINS or Hanger Bars (Cloisonné)
Different colors of powdered glass are applied by hand to the die struck copper base. Each piece is fired at 1500 degrees to produce brilliant hard-fired enamel colors. The pieces are stoned, buffed and polished to a fine finish. Cloisonné is best suited for simpler designs, as the base metal lines dividing the enamel are wider. Pins come with one standard butterfly clutch.
